Ford Mill, Little Chart — TN27 0QA

Directions from Jct 8 (Maidstone Services)
  1. Leave the M20 at Junction 8, signposted Leeds Castle and Lenham/Charing (A20).
  2. Proceed on the A20 towards Charing/Ashford. There is a bridge in Harrietsham with a height restriction of 4.7 m (15' 6").
  3. Continue on the A20 to Charing Roundabout — approx. 8.6 miles (13.8 km) from Jct 8.
  4. As you approach Charing Roundabout you will pass a petrol station on your right. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Ashford.
  5. Approx. 500 yards after the roundabout, turn right at the traffic lights, signposted Pluckley/Smarden.
  6. Proceed past houses, across the railway bridge over the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, then across the M20 motorway. After crossing the M20, do not take the 1st left turning — take the 2nd left (Swan Lane). This is a sharp turn. Approx. 1.5 miles (2.4 km).
  7. Proceed along Swan Lane until you reach the bottom of the hill, then take the left turn. The Swan pub will be on your right. Approx. 1 mile (1.6 km).
  8. As soon as you turn left, you will see the Ford Mill gates immediately on your left.
Directions from Jct 9 (Ashford)
  1. Leave the M20 at Junction 9 and head for the A20, signposted Lenham/Maidstone.
  2. Proceed along the A20 and take the left turn to Hothfield — signposted to Ford Mill.
  3. Follow West Street, which becomes Swan Lane. When you see The Swan pub on your right, turn right, then immediately left to the Ford Mill gates.
  4. From the A20 turning to Ford Mill is approx. 2 miles (3.2 km).

Pivington Mill, Pluckley — TN27 0PG

Directions from Jct 8 (Maidstone Services)
  1. Leave the M20 at Junction 8, signposted Leeds Castle and Lenham/Charing (A20).
  2. Proceed on the A20 towards Charing/Ashford. There is a bridge in Harrietsham with a height restriction of 4.7 m (15' 6").
  3. Continue on the A20 to Charing Roundabout — approx. 8.6 miles (13.8 km) from Jct 8.
  4. As you approach Charing Roundabout you will pass a petrol station on your right. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit towards Ashford.
  5. Approx. 500 yards after the roundabout, turn right at the traffic lights, signposted Pluckley/Smarden.
  6. Proceed past houses, across the railway bridge over the Channel Tunnel Rail Link, then across the M20 motorway. After crossing the M20, carry on for approx. 1.5 miles (2.4 km) to Pluckley.
  7. Turn right at the staggered junction into Egerton Road.
  8. Proceed for approx. 1 mile (1.6 km) and turn right. You will see the warehouse with the Scalderhurst sign on your right.
Directions from Jct 9 (Ashford)
  1. Leave the M20 at Junction 9 and head for the A20, signposted Lenham/Maidstone.
  2. Proceed along the A20 and take the left turn (signposted to Ford Mill) to Hothfield, into West Street — which then becomes Swan Lane.
  3. Follow Swan Lane past The Swan pub on your right and proceed up the hill to the end of Swan Lane.
  4. Turn left, then immediately right into Egerton Road.
  5. Proceed for approx. 1 mile (1.6 km) and turn right. You will see the warehouse with the Scalderhurst sign on your right.
